It's Show & Tell Tuesday! Woohoo! Twice a month, we all link up with Andrea and show & tell you something. Today's topic is all about our personal style. I wasn't exactly sure what that meant, so I'm covering my style in several forms: house, clothes, hair, makeup. That's enough style, right :).
Up first, my house...
...a few peeks into our little world.
Well, I've always enjoyed the works of people like Charles Faudree and Betty Lou Phillips, so you could say I like Country French. I love pillows, rugs, throws, books, candles, heavy frames, and pieces acquired over time. The aesthetic is that nothing looks new but rather collected.
I really try to keep my home comfy and cozy (you guys know how I love the word cozy...). I want lots of nooks for reading, blankets for wrapping yourselves in, coasters for setting cups of coffee down on...I want you to be able to curl up anywhere and feel at home here. I want my house to be a cozy little place for my family to take refuge each day.
This would be my personal style for my home: lots of collected pieces, lots of warmth, lots of places for kiddos to play :).
Next when thinking about my personal style would be what I wear...and let's be real, for me...my day to day life is working from home and chasing after kids, so my style has to fit that. Here are two really good examples of my personal style for this time of year...
I like jeans and wedges:
Or...I like shorts, a tee and sandals:
Cute sandals, shorts and a tee (like) work for me when doing the work from home mom thing.
I basically wear the same "uniform" every day...
Black Jeans (or blue!), tee, denim jacket, flowy (wrinkle-free!) top, plaid, necklace...repeat :)
That's my personal style right now. In a month, my style is going to be pajamas to swimsuits back to pajamas again until fall :).
Next in the personal style category would be my hair...let's be real, my hair only does one thing and one thing only...it does beachy. I've said it before but during high school and college, I would spend hours trying to get it to do something else and then right before I got married, my new hair stylist was like, it's beachy, let it be what it wants to be...and so, I'm letting it be :). What I wear might evolve over time as I get older...but I'm pretty sure that my hair will look like this when I'm 80 ;).
To see the post about my hair (a.k.a. the post about how I sleep with my hair wet and wake up to some waves), click here.
Here are my favorite hair products...
And I'm rounding out my personal style with makeup. My style is minimal eye with lipstick...because I love a good lipstick :).
These are all my favorites that I just can't live without :).
1. Tinted Eye Brightener
2. Mascara
3. Foundation Stick
4. Eye Shadow Primer
5. Lipstick
6. Eyelash curler
7. Eye Shadow Stick
8. Bronzer/Blush duo
To see the full post where I explain my love of each product and tell you which shades/colors I use, click here.

Listen, the best way to gauge what I like is to follow me on Pinterest. I have boards for the home, food, style, holidays, fitness...Pinterest explains my personal style more than anything. You can find me on Pinterest here and here's just a peek at some of my boards...
Next time on Show & Tell Tuesday we show our favorite vacation!
